How can you help?

Support our life-saving work by leaving us a gift in your will – a legacy donation.  Every gift, no matter the size, can make a huge difference to our services and allow us to continue the valuable work that we do for vulnerable and disabled adults in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin.  

Why remember us in your will?

PCAS helps the most vulnerable people through life-changing situations such as safeguarding, child protection, homelessness, and financial management. We are already helping hundreds of people and often have a long waiting list of people desperate for our support. 

Leaving PCAS a gift in your will would help us to give more individuals a better quality of life, where they are listened to, shown empathy and supported for as long as is needed.  

Through your gift, we could give a voice to more disabled and vulnerable adults across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin, and support those that would otherwise fall through the gaps.  Our clients do not have family or friends to support them and rely on us to help them through difficult times and often complex systems and processes.

Ways you can leave a gift to PCAS in your will

A residuary legacy - You can gift PCAS a share or the whole of your estate in your will after your other wishes and expenses have been met, and ensuring your family are provided for first. 

A specific legacy - This is the gift of a physical item or asset such as shares, property or jewellery. 

A pecuniary legacy - You can gift PCAS a specific amount of money in your will, for example a fixed amount of £5,000.

In memoriam giving - Friends, family or colleagues can make donations to us in your memory. Or they can take part in fundraising challenges with PCAS as the sponsored charity. 

If you would like to leave a gift in your will to PCAS, simply contact your solicitor or will maker to instruct them on your wishes. 

How we acknowledge your gift

We will add your name to our legacy website page as a lasting tribute to all those that have left us a gift and helped us continue our work.

You will be invited to a special presentation evening to meet the team and clients, where we can thank you personally for including us in your will.
